Hi everybody today at Enrich I painted the alley way mural with Lucy and her nan. The colours we used were yellow, dark green and blue. We started with mixing the blue and yellow to make a nice light green. Darryn went and got us the dark green and some overalls. Next me and Lucy got to work. We painted the bottom bright green then we left a space for the dark green to mix in. Then we painted the pond blue and Lucy's nan started to paint the hills. Next Lucy started to paint some more of the green wall. Lucy's nan said ''the wall is really coming to life now isn't it''. Me and Lucy had great fun painting the wall. Goodbye.

Hello everybody, today at Enrich I started my day off with a Wilson game called 4 red 4 blue and a ball.  We had to get the four reds and blues but here's the twist you can't have the same beanbag twice and you can't have the same colour twice.  After the game we went into passion time. For passion time Christina and I did cartooning.  After morning tea we did chess and I faced Christina and lost the match.  We had must dos and picks.  My pick was landscape design.

Technology Challenge

Hi everyone today at Enrich I started my day off with a game of chess. In chess I faced Lucy and lost the match. When chess finished we went into our environment projects. In my group we cleaned up the alley way and decided to paint one wall first then the other. After morning tea we had a technology challenge. The challenge was based on MacGyver. In the challenge we had to make a device to get a hammer and chisel because MacGyver (played by one of us) had his feet stuck in some concrete and needed to escape without the bomb going off .

In my environment project we planned what we were going to be doing in our mural by drawing with chalk on the alley way walls then rubbed out the stuff we did not need. After morning tea we watched a video about the environment and what was happening to all the animals that lived in the water that the terrible chemicals were in. When we finished watching the video we played a variation of bulls eye. After bulls eye we decided what we wanted to do for our passion time. I chose painting this week but next week I will be doing mosaics. Then we had lunch and I played outside with Lucy. After blogging I will be doing passion time yay!

Hi everyone today at Enrich I started my day off with a game of chess. In chess I played Christina and lost the game. After chess we planned and sketched our designs of what we were going to be doing for the next few weeks with our Environment project - painting a mural on one of the walls at Enrich. After morning tea we played a new Wilson game called bulls eye. In bulls eye you have to try and get every bean bag in the hoop but heres the twist, the bean bag is not allowed touch the hoop!
 After the Wilson game we went right into our high interest stations. My group was the Fibonacci maths group with Alana. In Fibonacci maths we learnt that rabbits and shells relate to the Fibonacci numbers! The rabbits relate to fibonacci because of their family tree, starting from one pair of rabbits.  Once they are two months old, they can have a pair of rabbits after each month! The number of pairs of rabbits after each month, follows the Fibonacci sequence.

Hi everyone today at enrich I played Christina in a game of chess and won the round. After chess we had our high interest stations,the stations were 3D drawing, Science physics or Maths Fibonacci. My station was the fibonacci with Alana. We learnt that honey bees connect to Fibonacci's because the male honeybee only has one parent which is the female and the female has two parents the male and the female.At 11:00 we play a Wilson game called pegasaurus. At 1:30 we have our  Environment projects to continue.

Hi everybody today at Enrich I started my day off with a game of chess with Arnia. After chess we went to our high interest stations. My station was cartooning with Katie. In cartooning we copied some of Stu Duval's amazing animals and people out of numbers.Then we had morning tea.After morning tea we had P4C, debating and creative writing.  At 1:30 we have our environment projects to plan. At 2:00 the spanish people have spanish,then we clean up and go home.

Hi everybody! Today at Enrich I played a game of chess with Arina and I won. After that we had our high interest stations. In science we made a light bulb out of some household objects. The objects were 8 D sized batteries, clear jar, electrical tape, pie pan, cardboard tubing, pencil lead and a pair of red and black alligator clips. The main idea was to get the pencil lead to light up.

Hi everybody today at Enrich we answered some of a questions on our grafitti board then I started my  mural project. After morning tea we had a technology challenge. We had to build a shuttlecock launcher. At 11:30 we had a guest come in from Environment Southland to talk to us about Seaward Bush. We learnt that all the birds that lived there that had eggs were getting eaten by Stoats and Weasels.

Hi everybody today at enrich I started my day off playing a game called The hoop game. After the hoop game we did a reflection sheet about term 2. After morning tea we had a key competency assessment. The key competency assessment was all about what we did this term and what we are going to work on next term.  After lunch we are doing passion time. For passion time I am hoping to do some painting.

Today at Enrich I started my day off with some chess and continued my Kowhaiwhai panel. After I finished my Kowhaiwhai panel I had some lunch and did some passion time. For passion time I did some painting. During passion time Paola came and it was time for Spanish. For Spanish I learnt the colours and how to say my age in Spanish. Today at enrich I had talent development. For talent development I did photography. For photography I did green screening and I had a lot of fun. I had spanish whit Paola. For spanish I played 2 games on the internet and Paola put the language in spanish. I did some Kowhaiwhai art and answered some riddles.

Hi everybody today at Enrich I did some talent development. For talent development I did photography and learnt about the rule of thirds. We had an expert photographer in - David Russell - to show us how to take better pictures.  After morning tea we had passion time and for passion time I made a clay pot. After lunch I went to Spanish. For Spanish I learnt the colours and the numbers 1 to 20.

I’m pleased you enjoyed the photo editing on citrify.com - it had heaps of cool effects to help enhance your photos.  I really liked the water colour and the pencil sketch technique.  I am looking forward to our experts coming in to help us.  I’m sure they will have lots of great advice for us to help improve our photographing technique.  Spanish looked interesting today - you all seem to be pronouncing the words really well.  Did you ask Paola about her trip back to Argentina?  Katie.

Today at Enrich I learnt how to do a Bio Poem and posted it on my blog.  A bio poem is a poem all about yourself.  It includes things like your fears, your family and relationships.  I learnt how do SCAMPER. SCAMPER is all about having an object and thinking about how to use it in different ways, for example a broom is a hair brush and a noodle is a watering can.

Hi everyone today at Enrich I learnt some Spanish and how to blog.  I learnt how to say goodbye, see you later and see you soon in Spanish,and in blogging I have learnt how to get into my blog and how to write a post.  In perspectives I learnt how to use iphoto and import photos from a camera.
